Virgos with B12 Drinks, Halloween Horror Nights and Writing

It's my boss's birthday. She's a Virgo like me. I forgot where I was at, but they had wine glasses with the zodiac on them, but they didn't have a Virgo wine glass. 😞 It's hard being a Virgo. There's just too many Virgos that want things with Virgo on it. (me included)  So I got her these little B12 drinks that she likes so much. I didn't go all out. Last year we had a team so we had a pizza party (which I couldn't eat because there was no vegan gluten free pizza for me, but that was okay because it was still fun to have all that noise). Anyways, she's taking Friday off, so I am putting it on her desk today. I took some awesome pictures of spiders. I'm a big fan of bugs. I know I've said it before, but I find them intriguing. So I have a collection of bug pictures that I took. Let's talking Halloween Horror Nights! We're going. Mostly because I heard they have some pretty cool houses this year, going into classic horror. They're ...

Eating Out, Hiking and Writing

Watching:  Orville Season 3 Eating: Beans and Rice Reading: The Grand Tour by Patricia C Wrede and Caroline Stevermer    Oil Diffuser:  Lavender We met Sue twice this week for dinner, once in the new shopping center up the hill and once down the street from where we live. The new shopping center had a  Mediterranean restaurant. It's very popular so we're lucky we found a place to even sit. The food was fabulous and I ate all of it, which was fine, but I had to stop eating by 7pm if I wanted my blood drawn by 7am the next day.  Blood test went fine. We went hiking afterwards. The spot was more of a dog park than anything and most people didn't have their dogs on leashes so it's not a good place for people who fear dogs, like Ann. She sent me a picture of two large dogs sitting by her and that shocked me to bits! Look at us facing our phobias! And we're a little shabby at it.  I opened my coconut coffee and brewed a cup. Oh My Goddess! It's so good. I w...

Valley Fright Night, Childhood Scares and Writing

Watching:  Dave Builds a Maze Eating: SpitFire Brussel Sprouts (way too hot for me) Reading: The Grand Tour by Patricia C Wrede and Caroline Stevermer    Oil Diffuser:  Lavender We finally did it. We went to Valley Fright Night being held at Pierce College. It was so much fun. The line was a scare zone and there were so many screamers and runners. Emory and I got dusty with all the dirt that was kicked up.  There were three mazes and they were so well put together. I loved the décor and there were tons of actors jumping out and making the scare worth the money. Plus it wasn't as expensive as Hollywood Horror Nights but the costumes, makeup and décor were really on point. I think the 3D Clown Maze was the best.  I was telling Sue about the good time we had and I started to tell her about the Clown Maze, when I remembered that she hates, hates, HATES clowns. So I retracted my story and changed the subject, but she did inquire why anyone would spend their mon...

Coworkers Leave, Life Coach and Writing

Watching:  Midnight Mass Eating: Vegan Korean Corndogs (were not easy to make) Reading: The Grand Tour by Patricia C Wrede and Caroline Stevermer    Oil Diffuser:  Hot Chocolate My bartender coworker has gotten a new job. This makes me sad. I'll miss her efficiency and having someone to talk to about wine and coffee. My two favorite subjects next to writing, haunted houses, bee butts, and finding things for my ritual table.  I have a Life Coach for my anxiety. I keep thinking I'm getting better but it's complicated (with a lot of OCD) and I can't sum it up so off to better things like cooking. We made Vegan Korean Corndogs. I got the recipe off of Instagram which looked fairly easy. However, we are using vegan hot dogs and a gluten free all purpose flour. The batter didn't stick very well to the corn dogs, but they were still so tasty. We gained at least 3 pounds eating them. Well, it could have been the drinks too, I made vegan whip-cream, vodka and orange jui...
