Sometimes you read posts that are jokes, but I love them. Like Denmark wanting to purchase California. The last document I saw said that 200,000 signatures were collected. I personally wouldn't mind Denmark coming in and taking over. We already have Solvang which is a super cute little town. Lets make it happen folks! I wrote by friends and told them they would need a passport to come visit us.
All jokes aside. 💕
Typo is doing good right now. We've been feeding her 3-4 times a day. She's gained a little strength back. She barked once and even gave Emory's face a little lick. We love her so much, but we're aware that this is now borrowed time. She's going to have to be a badass over the rainbow soon, but right now, she's our little badass and she's keeping me company while I work.
Our friends with a yacht called on Thursday and said they are going out Monday to whale watch. We got an invitation so that was awesome! I asked what we could bring the captain, as he's a tea drinker and he snacks like we do, which means ALL DAY. I call it "drive-by snacking".
I found some things to do out here when Ann comes back out in April. I want to take her to a candle making event and treat her since she's been so good to us. I need to give her a gift for our first youth that will be graduating in May. I have six commune children that I need to find gifts for and they graduate in a row, one after the other. I love having so many people in my life.
I was telling Ann that I'm a bit of a introvert and she said that's okay. I have the communes and that's about as much of a friend group in my life. I need calmness and they are all such awesome people. Plus, they don't really talk about much beyond what is currently happening so not a lot of drama, though there was a wrench thrown into the cogs, but I think it'll work itself out. Ann told me to stay neutral, but I am on Crazy Cousin Nik's side.
I asked Emory if it's a problem that I find the whole situation hilarious, and he said he found it funny too. I spoke with Crazy Cousin Nik yesterday and he said that he found me to be pretty neutral in everything. That I'm just a "hippie" living my best life. The only thing I can say is I've chosen my side and I'll go down with the ship.
I did speak with Crazy Cousin Nik, and he wasn't too quick about talking about that disaster, so I have no idea what the real situation was. He's taken up pole dancing for exercise which I have to say he's so freaking good at! He's got his horse that keeps him busy too. He's still putting together cosumes which is excellent! Love the sheer amount of creativity that he gives off! And he's really supportive.
Writing Update:
I finally posted chapter 8 of C. It was an internal struggle as I was feeling pretty unsure about the story. A really super sweet reviewer left me a nice comment that it was a great gift for Valentine's Day to have the update.
Now it's time to finish editing B.C. next chapter and to post it.
