Typo's Beard, Commune Holidays and Writing

Typo's white beard is orange because she eats pumpkin puree in her dinner dish. I give it to them as a treat and they really like it. It's pure pumpkin. Do NOT use pumpkin pie mix because it has spices that the dogs shouldn't digest. I was trying to get the regular old pumpkin puree in a container with a lid that I can put in the fridge and they went ballistic. They could smell it... and I'm a sucker for their little faces so I gave them a spoon each.

Typo also has oatmeal in her beard and I have no idea how she has it on her ears. I love my little fur babies, but they are getting older. I took Mozart for a walk and his little back leg got disjointed. He didn't use to have this problem but he is getting older now (13 years old) so he's starting to walk funny.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksliving! We had the hardest time trying to put together the recipe we chose off the Internet. We chose one that was a little unorganized. In otherwards, the directions were nonexistant. It told us how to mix things... which wasn't the problem, but then when it was time to put it in the oven, YEP, no real direction on times. It took 2.5 hrs longer than the directions said it would just on prep alone and we had to look up cook times on another site.

Fun... But still pretty tasty.

The Glendale commune had such a busy holiday. Ann had gone to three dinners so she's probably all done with big dinners for a while. She said that when she went to the memory care dinner, the plates weren't that big.

She has a friend in memory care that she visits a lot. A few people from the commune go and play games with the people in memory care to help entertain and breakup the day for them. I went once to visit her friend. I really like him. He's been good to me and he's like a second father. I'm sad he has memory issues now. He's so sweet and he always smiles. Really, he's been good to me.

I guess the Glendale commune is now going to put up their Christmas stuff. I wish I had room for a tree. I didn't like Christmas for the longest time, but I'm ready to celebrate it again. We started by watching Christmas movies all day. Emory brought back that part of me.

The Porter commune went to Yosemite so we babysat the house and Miss Sassy Pants. She's a good little kitty. Sue had tons of bottles of wine that she left for me to drink, but I didn't touch any of them. It was busy on our end and though I do like a little wine at dinner, I just didn't drink much this week. All the running around really cut into the drinking portion of dinner.

PLEASE never drink and drive! It's not safe!

Writing Update:

I found two new fandoms that I want to write in. Actually, I don't know if there is a fandom for the horror movie I just watched, so I might be one of the few people to write in it. The other fandom only has 8 stories so it's very small. I don't know about said fandom though because people seem to be anti everything and given the story plot, it is very open to just about anything!

B.C. I have about 2,000+ words written. I need about 2,000+ more words. This story might be longer than I thought. I'm a little torn; do I add more drama? Do I need to pull back on the drama? I have ideas where the lead character has to fight for the other lead character, but I don't know if I'm making this too dramatic. And who is still reading this story anyways? I don't have a lot of readers, but I'm to blame for writing in small fandoms.
