I went to a Diwali celebration! I wish Emory had been able to come because the people throwing the party did ask if he was coming and I had to tell them no, he had previous obligations. There was so much food there. As the night progressed, we got glow sticks and these little things that light up. Definitely fun. I met so many neighbors and I took pictures for people. It was great.
At the end of the celebration, we got little goodie bags. I was given a "boy" gift and a "girl" gift so that I could bring something home for Emory. I also brought him two desserts. I am so thankful that I got to be included in this celebration and to meet so many interesting people.
My neighbor gave me a bottle of Vodka. I guess she doesn't drink and she asked if we do. I laughed and said, "we shouldn't, but...." She laughed and understood. We talked a little bit about vices. She said she doesn't really know if she has one. I, myself, might have too many.

Sue went to see a show, though I can't remember the name of the show she went to see. I also found out, because I'd been talking to both Ann, Sue and Emory through text, that Ann went to see Dracula. So everyone was busy, but I cling to my phone like a life line, which I really need to work on.
Steven and Denise are up in Jerome (Arizona) for the weekend. I believe they are going on a ghost tour. I spoke with Ann who was trying to help Steven coordinate his trip and I told her what tours Emory and I took up there. I think I've done like 3 out of the 4 tours. Denise and Steven are staying at the Grand Hotel, which I stayed at with Crazy Cousin Nik, Rosey-Dosey and Sue. It was so fun.
Crazy Cousin Nik and I shared a bed, because Rosey-Dosey and Sue didn't trust us not to try to scare them in the middle of the night. Nik and I fell straight asleep, but I think Rosey and Sue scared themselves so badly that they couldn't sleep. I told Steven and Denise to look at the guest book because people write their scary experiences in it. I wish I had written in the book because I was woken by something scratching my lower back and I thought it was Nik. Nik was dead asleep!!!

C: Now working on chapter 7. I hate blank pages. It is so tough to write on blank sheets. Editing is where my real joy is.
