Cold Apartment, Broken Hot Tub and Writing

Our heater isn't working and there's been a cold snap coming through California. The apartment office said that they couldn't fix it until after the rain so we've been using space heaters. (Don't tell my mom because she hates space heaters). However, our apartment without the heaters has been staying at 70 degrees which isn't bad.

We decided to get into the hot tube and when we stepped into it, it was disappointing and Emory said the buttons were missing. The only thing working were the bubbles. It wasn't terribly cold, but it was like stepping into bathwater that sat overnight. It was neutral, but not warm enough to warrant sitting outside in the cold.

Then on Sunday, we decided to go for a walk because the weather was 56 degrees. There was a small chance of rain, but as we walked, it started raining on us. We were soaked by the time we made it around the four mile radius. We had to get into warm clothes, drink tea and turn our space heater on.

My cast is off woot woot!!

Ann went to a Woman's Convention but she said it was fairly boring. I asked her if she got 50 bottles of hand sanitizer again and she said she had some if I needed it. I really don't. I have tons too.

We're supposed to go to a winery this weekend up a ways from where we live, but it might be raining this weekend and our designated driver wants to wait on getting her bottles of wine when the weather is better.

 Writing Update:
