Watching: Chuck (Season 4)
Eating: Fajitas and Margaritas
Reading: Fifth Grave Past the Light by Darynda Jones
We were invited to a Super Bowl party by one of Emory's friends. Emory played pool and there was a lot to eat. Most everyone there seemed to be actors and actresses, but I met an actress who said her agent represented comedians. That's what I'm interested in going into, but I need so much training and I need a demo reel. The demo reel I have shows me really nervous and blowing my comedy routine.
We went to Ventura for President's Day. We planned on hanging out at the beach but it was really cold, cloudy, windy and the likes, so we ended up packing it up and heading out for lunch at Rice, which happens to be one of my favorite restaurants. We visited Goodwill and bought a handful of books though Goddess knows why when I have enough books I've already collected and am still collecting the series of. It was a nice day and I got more shells for my specialty table.
Right now, Adam Baldwin is my muse. I honestly don't get how this happens but I've been waiting for almost two years for a muse to come along and steal my every waking moment with story ideas. Alas, I'll only use him to fuel my ideas, play around with new concepts, test my ability to mimic the tone of his characters. Past muses that still tickle my thoughts: Wentworth Miller, Martin Freeman and Christian Kane. Also, I feel like Freddie Stroma might be right there. Yes, funny that my muses tend to be masculine. I have a certain personality that I like in my stories and if I see that trait in their characters, they become case studies.
Writing Update
NO MORE FAN FICTION! Really. I mean it this time. I can't get caught up with writing stories for existing characters when I have so many of my own that are really cool.
LB: Just finished chapter 22 and now to finish the series. I've always found editing better than writing the first and second draft. I wish this last chapter was already written so I just had to edit it. 😁
