Witch Club, Grooming New Dogs and Writing

Oh!! Girlie-time!!

The High Priestess invited me to hang. I can't wait to travel to this secret location. I want to get a few little items like face masks, lotions, etc. This is just an excuse to shop, I know! But I love girlie trips!

I haven't seen Sue all week. I've been working so hard to get these two projects off the ground that I went without human companionship for a week now. I went without a lot of things. This obsession is real.

Sue has a cold though, so maybe it's good I haven't seen her. She needs to rest.

My personal chef has filled the fridge, but I haven't really made time to eat. Again.... with the writing, I know! But when the pain gets bad, I'll remember to grab something.

Ann is coming out on Monday. I can't wait to see her! And Sherlock and Watson have their hair appointment that morning. I'm so nervous because this is their first hair appointment and the last one they had (because they are rescues) required that they be under sedation to keep from hurting them. I love these buggers so much! I pray they aren't too scared. I pray they don't get hurt.

Sherlock still won't let me sleep. We are up by 3:00am and we come into the living room. I turn on all the lights for him because he's completely blind in one eye and part vision in the other. I thought he needed the lights, but I think he's so use to walking around in the dark that he will still make his way out the doggy door without the lights. Still, I turn them on and crash on the couch.

Writing Update:

Yuletide 2 Horror Story: Still untitled. I was in the middle of writing and had such an explosive idea! It just rocked my world and I had NO ONE to tell so I called Ann. She compared my major twist to an author that she's completely in love with! I won't mention which author, but I really, really, really hope I can pull this off.

I was looking for a certain word for someone that needed to just "let go" and Ann mentioned that I recently talked with someone who had that exact feeling, so she asked, "how did she describe it?" Bam!!! The word I needed was right there and it was perfect! Thanks to all the women in my life for helping me out right now!

I'm in the middle of editing again because it was getting too thin in the middle. This is 2500-4000 word limit. I'm barely scratching 2000 though this hasn't ended yet. I just need to sharpen my word choice and make it as clean as possible. No filler.
