Fundraisers, RPG Maybe and Writing

We went to "Tip a Cop" which was a fundraiser for Special Olympics. It was fantastic! It was a restaurant at the mall so we showed up early and there was no line but there were a massive amount of cadets! It was so fun and I think only one representative from the Special Olympics was there. I would love to have gotten his name, but I don't want to be overwhelming to anyone so I kept to my small circle. The commune came out to eat with Sue and me. 💗

The weather out here is nice. I would love to have walked the mall as that's not something I really do and I want to see what the "Disney Princess" line is at Bath and Body works. I saw it advertised for a second and really wanted to see for myself what was out for testers.

The rest of the week has been kind of quiet.

I watched a horror-ish movie or maybe suspense? I'm not sure, but it was really good and at the end I was like "No! No way!" and even though the villains were all disgusting, I really want to do a character study on them. I looked online to see what pairings were made for this movie and there wasn't even a Fandom, in which this was my conversation with Emory:

Me: "There is nothing for this fandom! I'd be the first and I don't know if my work would be easily found given that this is an older horror movie."

Emory: "You always do this. You find fandoms that are really old, dead or non-existent."

Me: "I don't always..."

Emory: **lists a handful of my fandoms**

Me: *blink...blink...blink* "Okay. You have me there."

The fandoms that I like writing in are about 10+ years old with very rare pairings.

So... Do I write on this horror movie or do I try to finally work on my own projects again because I always write AU. Might as well write my own original story and see where I can sell my project.

My Moon Sister is currently in Hawaii visiting her coven mates. How cool is that? I hope they do some special tarot readings online. She's so awesome. She does crystal healing and tarot readings.

Crazy Cousin Nik called and we discussed the good old days when we used to RPG together. I love talking about the online strangers we've had the pleasure of knowing through the gaming world, but I think Nik has met some of these people in real life. The thing is, Nik has better luck with people than I do. I'm a bit of a recluse so meeting people makes me a little nervous. Him... not so much.

He still RPG's and asked me if I would consider doing it, as I'm a strong writer and good at making scenarios. I admitted that I've tried in the past and have lost my partners that I was playing with, so it's easier to just write stories and get my serotonin from that. I also love reading fiction on character studies.

I'm thinking about opening myself to RPGs again... I don't know. There are pros and cons to consider and last time, the cons were pretty heavy.

I drank so much coffee today. I had coconut coffee, eggnog coffee and a couple of cups of Dutch chocolate coffee. I really should be wired right now. Go figure.

Writing Update:

B.C. : working on chapter 18. I think my characters might go all the way. I was worried it would come off as forced, like I jumped the gun, but I think the story itself is laid out and ready for this next step.

C: Working on chapter 9 of this story. I have my character in a scenario that I need to get them out of and I think I'm going to have to go dark, (no glossing over the nitty-gritty). I need to go in and make this ugly because the logic of being trapped would be ugly. No fade out scenes for this one, no matter how gut clenching it will be to put it out on paper... errr, I mean the keyboard.

F.C. I'm thinking about putting this one on hold. I don't really have many hits and it's the newest story so I think I might just try to finish my other ones first and see if this one drums up any more interest. I told Emory I might should just let it die, but he said to finish what I started. I usually do try to finish what I started, but honestly, this one kind of depresses me.
